What was recently a notorious red light zone in Buffalo's downtown has been transformed into one of the hottest night-time districts in the nation. Stretching west from Main Street on Chippewa all the way to Elmwood Avenue, the area features every type of bar and night club imaginable-from the live jazz of the Calumet Arts Club to the latin rhythms of La Luna. Just around the corner is the Theater District, featuring performing arts spaces such as Shea's, and the Irish Classical Theatre Company.
