A trip to this lovely Virgin Islands National Park area involves a hike from the Annaberg Plantation parking lot, but it is worth the effort for the excellent snorkeling around Waterlemon Cay. The beach is not the island’s best, but quite adequate for sunning and swimming. A trail at the eastern end of the beach leads up to spectacular views from old ruins and on to more snorkeling at Brown Bay. The bone fishing is excellent at Mary’s Creek, the western part Leinster Bay. There is no admission charge.
