The parsonage in Kuhmalahti has the reputation of belonging to the crème de la crème of the region's art life. This home studio for ceramic artist Teemu Luoto is definitely worth seeing. The parsonage has served as a venue for art exhibitions for several decades. Present activities include different art courses and experience packages for groups. The summer exhibitions are fun for the whole family; Luoto is particularly known for his sympathetic animal figures. There is often work by several other artists too in the park-like yard of the parsonage. The old buildings are also abundant in interesting details. In August, the exhibition season ends with the Parsonage Night of the Arts, an event of mystical darkness. The Angel Kitchen is really a work of spatial art, but can be turned into a café on request.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
