For those interested in Israeli history, former Prime Minister David Ben Gurion’s private home is the place to visit. Built in 1931, the house has been preserved in the same condition as when it was lived in, and it presents a permanent exhibition on Ben Gurion’s life and legacy. Seminars and study groups on social and political issues are also conducted here. It is easy to spend several hours in the library, which has 20,000 books in a multitude of languages, covering topics such as politics and anthropology.
