For a city of this size, and considering it's twinned with Lyon, there are surprisingly few French restaurants in Birmingham. This is the most central, just off New Street, but it is fairly small and doesn't go out of its way to advertise its wares. The menu changes frequently, so you know the food and ideas will be fresh, and the cost is very reasonable too. Examples of à la carte dishes include sautéed rabbit with risotto and wild mushroom open lasagne.
