In the swish area of Leipzig you will find one of the oldest bistro cafes in the city. Kuemmelapotheke,in the Maelderpassage, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Its nostalgic decor is a reminder of days gone by. One can enjoy a coffee sheltered by a canopy from wind and bad weather. This is a small bistro with a big menu: there is something for everyone here. Kuemmelapotheke distinguishes itself through its seasonal menu with daily specials (which do change each day) whether it be breakfast or lunchtime. The freshly baked cakes are particularly worth trying.
