Named after the national bird of Cuba – the Tocororo – the establishment is found in an area that also includes top hotels, and nightclubs popular among visiting tourists. The food here is inspired as much by local as by international cuisine, but with a surprisingly creative twist. Nothing is written down on the menu, rather, you order a meal and the chef instantly creates a delicious and well-prepared combination; and if you want a cocktail, the house special is a mix of Daiquiri with Blue Curazao, topped with a Cherry. Decoration follows a tropical theme, interspersed with artificial tocororos perched all over this lively restaurant.
