The Blue Lagoon has established itself as a health retreat, and the geothermal lagoon is generally thought to have medical powers, especially for psoriasis patients. The hotel is close to the Lagoon, in a new and modern building, offering excellent facilities for the guests. The rooms are new and modern and relatively spacious. The same goes for common facilities. Everything in the hotel is affected by the emphasis on health. Some people like it and some don't! The hotel's neighbourhood looks as if it was from outer space. Everything is engulfed in the steam from the lagoon and the geothermal power station nearby. Well worth visiting, even if you choose to stay at another hotel.
