Back to Botanic Gardens (The) Well worth it!!! I have to agree with the other reviewers but add the friendliness of the other people in the gardens..... joggers, walkers, people out walking their dogs etc. Value is high as there is no charge (thats why a Scot goes there!!!) Highlights for me were the "Sausage" tree and the Brazil nut tree.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 15 2007 Time to relax! This is one of the most relaxing spots to go in Trinidad. You can sit amongst the trees and plants and read a book, or even drift away to sleep. I believe there are tour guides, if you want to learn about all the different plants and so on, but sometimes its just nice to go with your family and have a picnic.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 20 2007 Beautiful grounds I really enjoyed the different variety of trees and flowers. I was able to postcard like pictures of the different varities of native foliage. I wish the signs of the different names were posted on all the trees.
