The best of the best
My stay for 3 nights was excellent and most enjoyable. Most of staff were able to communicate in English and very very helpful. 8 years ago I stayed this hotel but not many staff could speak english. Hotel facilities have been upgraded and even my room was renovated in international standard. Management and staff shall be congraturated their job.

Great for business trips
The Lao Plaza is probably the best place to stay in Vientiane when on business trips. The staff are very attentive to your needs and the 24hr internet access from your bedroom just makes work so much easier. Food and entertainment joints are also just a short walk away from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, especially to people traveling alone.

International Hotel
I have stayed in this hotel for several times and found that the hotel was getting better and better every time I came back. For facilities, rooms and restaurants, I can see every improvement in all aspects. For staff, their friendlyness and efficiency were all the time. Wherever I stepped into the Lobby, they called by my name. I heard that all dignities and VIP guests to Vientiane had to stay there, nowhere they can stay. What I paid US $120 is worth to spend. I admire the management of the hotel as such an international hotel to run.

French Dining Experience In Vientiane
For my honeymoon tour in Indochina, the hotel has arranged a great and memorable dinner at Steak Corner where the Lao Plaza is featuring most luxary culinary. I and my wife enjoyed 7 full course candle dinner which was cooked and prepared by Executive Chef. Taste and sense of all meals were at the same standard as in Paris and I asked chef about his backgroud of culinary skills. No wonder, he has been working in Oriental Bangkok, Hilton Bangkok as well as world famous Queen Elizabeth II crews. He expalined that he and his team have been catered so many state and national function in the past. Anybody who stays at the Lao Plaza should have a chance to dine his culinary art.
