The airport is contemporary by island standards, the check-in and ticketing area is open-air under a large portico. If flights are not scheduled however, you're not likely to find any staff about. The airlines represented are British Air, American, BIWI, LIAT, Air Canada and Air France. These counters double-up to represent other lesser or less frequented airlines as well. The departure lounge is ok with comfortable seating and a few duty free shops about. There's a bar serving mediocre sandwiches and drinks but if you're on a long layover you can order from the upstairs full-service restaurant, open 24 hours. In the customs, immigration and baggage claim area, you'll find a good information booth loaded with brochures and very helpful employees. There's also a posting on the wall listing cab fares, which are pre-fixed here. There's also one of the islands few ATMs here — it accepts VISA, MC, Cirrus, Bank Plus. There is a small bank of card phones and one coin phone outside the departure and arrivals area. This is also where you'll be able to pick up a cab. The airport has a lovely observation deck upstairs by the restaurant. Bathrooms are below just before the departure lounge. Ample and inexpensive parking available.
