I was in Manila 2x on business - September and December. The shopping experience is worth it - you need to be in the frame of mind to 'negotiate' on price and can't be in a rush. A lot of 'knock off' merchandise - but A LOT of choices! The deals were better in September. In December there was less room for price negotiation.

This was my very 1st trip to the PI...We were on a busy tour...6 hours was NOT enough @ Greenhills. We tried to go back, but couldn't...2 days would be just perfect..The 1st day would be to buy whatever you like and the 2nd day would be to go back and buy what you missed or MORE of what you liked BEST! You can get carried away easily and forget about the airline baggage limit...so beware! Also, bring enough $$$, but for sure the bargains are so great that your $$$ goes farther than regular shopping centers. YES, the pearls there are a great bargain too. Found some, bought it & loved it!!!

I grew up in the the philippines so i am quite familiar with manila and shopping at greenhills. so if you want a deal on anything and i do mean anything from precious gems to dvds and clothing to musical instruments and cellphones greenhills is the bargain hotspot. and if you want things at your price just tell them what you are willing to pay and if one person says no at first trust me someone else there has it at your price. and the best time to go is in the early morning easy parking and its cooler... plus the fruits and vegetables in the farmers section are supper fresh... good luck and happy travels

awsome awsome bargains! the best in the city most probably.... bargain your hearts out, this place offers great variety, quality and most of all the cheapest range there is, cant wait to go back! this place is no. 1 on my list when it comes to shopping.. :D

We parked on a supposed to be a "no parking zone" but had no sign and the spaces are painted with white lines so who would think it was an illegal parking area? Apparently, the shopping center is privately owned but then the ones who give tickets are the barangay tanods. One of them told us that the lines were supposed to be changed into yellow lines so no one would make the mistake of parking on that area but this has hasn't been done yet.If they don't really want anyone to park on those spaces, they should put a sign up on each of those spaces or repaint the lines yellow. I think this is a bait so they can earn money legally but in a scrupulous way. This area by the way was in front of the "Promenade."

The Greenhills Shopping area is amazing. you can find many great deals on designer bags, and fine jewerly. I brought back my girlfriend a coach purse! She loved it!
