Back to Belmont Park Wave House Wave House is awesome. Never seen anything like it. Fun for the whole family. Our teens got to ride the wave, while we watched and ate a fantastic lunch and enjoyed the California lifestyle
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 19 2008 Great Spot for Food, Sand and Sea This locale is fantastic for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast at the North Shore Cafe is the best on the boardwalk. If the wind is up you can close it off but still enjoy the view with the see through shade! Also if it's chlly there are heaters on the ceilings that make it just right.

The Wave House swimming pool & the Giant Dipper roller coaster were both built in the same era (early 20's?) & have a lot of history behind them. The rest of the amusement park is standard faire - but enough to keep the kids occupied for a while. The coaster is a creaky, old wooden affair with updated cars (for safety). It's great! It's been showcased on several tv programs that talked about classic coasters & their enthusiasts.
