Big disappointment
I was just in Israel last week and went to Norman's after shabbat with my sister. The last time I was there was about 7 years ago and remember it being quite good. Unfortunately, this was not the case this time. While the service is decent, the burger was a HUGE downer. Not only was the meat not cooked properly, the burger had NO taste whatsoever. I was so annoyed about the meal that I even told the waitress how disappointed I was.

Why Bother?
11 hours and $1200 to fly to Israel, $250 a night in a hotel, and they took me out to eat in an American hamburger joint? There are better burgers at home and back there the waitress can really speak English. This is not why I came for a visit!!!

The burger's mucho delicious.
I like the place. The waitstaff are helpful and friendly (no attitude). The chips are crisp and the burger's delicious. Service is OK and if one orders something that will take time, a 'meanwhile' dish is suggessted. As I said above, I lkke the place.

there are better restaurants in the area
The food was bad, the service was bad. The bread was stale, the meat was old. Bad Bad Bad. The only good thing was they had toys for the kids.

Better than Dougie's
I was expecting lower quality of food and service -- but we were pleasantly surprised. Norman's food not only compares to Dougie's -- it surpasses Dougie's. Their service was definitely better than my experiences at Dougie's. Lots of fun for both children and adults -- as long as you like meat or chicken.

BURGERS
The burgers rock, especially the sumo burger and the big kahuna burger
