I briefly saw Kun Lam from the outside as part of a tour of Macau during a business trip to Hong Kong in 2003 - it was a Friday and so there was no admission that day. I was so moved and touched by the beauty of this "statue" (to me she is more than a mere statue) that the very next morning I caught the ferry back to Macau just to spend a few hours with Kun Lam. I also spent a fortune on Kun Lam memoribilia so that I would never forget her beauty.
