Video Guide

Hotel San Carlos, styled after the Italian Renaissance Revival, was built in 1928 and combines Italian and Southwestern style. The first high-rise hotel serviced by an elevator in Phoenix, it earned its place in the Historic Hotels of America registry. In its early days, this hotel was frequented by some of Hollywood's movie stars like Clark Gable, Mae West, Marilyn Monroe and Spencer Tracy. Newly renovated and improved in 1997, this hotel continues in the tradition of its social graces. Note that rates are highly seasonal and subject to change, so please call for current information.
