Back to Quorum Hotel Tampa Best in Tampa My recent stay at this hotel was excellent!! It was at the end of our vacation last Sunday night. We needed a place to stay to catch an early morning flight to Chicago. I booked online even though the hotel had been rated poorly by others. Wow were we surprised. The room was very clean, quiet, and sized well. The price was excellent. This place is very conveniently located off I-275 and just a short distance to the Tampa airport.
Reviewed by: Richard from on Apr 17 2007 Horrible Experience. My fiancee and I had booked a room here for our anniversary. At first we though they were great. Our room was available for early check-in so we were pleased. We got to our 10th floor room with huge expectations. The room was TINY!! There was no iron, only one robe and the room was booked for two people, and I don't even want to talk about the horrible front desk customer service. We also ordered room service and paid the Blue Water Grill with cash. As we were checking out there was a charge for the room service we had paid cash for. The front desk did not believe us. He took the crumbled up reciept we had given him just to check then asked who served us our food so he could check with him. I was very disappointed!! I will never return to this hotel.
Reviewed by: Amandalie from on Feb 20 2007 It was ok. We had booked a club level room and we unfortunately did not get the room we had a expected. The room was much smaller than those of other hotels we've stayed at in the area and cost more than the other hotels. Front desk staff was not very personable. Housekeeping staff was great. Reasonable prices for room service and the food was delicious! I would definately recommend the Blue Water Grill. But not sure if I'd stay at the Quorum again.
Reviewed by: ... from on Feb 19 2007 This hotel knows what Service is all about My wife and I were attending a conference in Tampa. After reviewing the traveler reviews for the hotel sponsoring the conference (mostly poor) we decided to look for an alternate hotel. At first we were reluctent to stay at a non-chain hotel, but the gamble was well worth it. The Quorum Hotel was first rate. Our experience started with a warm welcome from the Hotel Staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. They offered us a room with a great view of the water, free happy hour drinks and free chair massages. All of the hotel staff (reception, resturant, maid-service, bellhops, etc.) were very friendly and went out of their way to assist. The breakfast buffet was awesome. At the conference, we compared hotel experiences with the other participants and the Quorum Hotel scored a high rating. If I had to pick something to complain about, it would be the accessibility to the hotel parking lot (a nit). But that's not the fault of the hotel, but the city planners. A great hotel, give it a try.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 17 2006 No better hotel I travel extensively throughout the United States and have stayed more evenings in hotels than my own home. This hotel has absolutely, without a doubt, the most superior staff I have ever met. From the time I was picked up by Darrel in the Quorum Shuttle and throughout my entire stay, the staff went out of their way to accomodate me. Even the bathroom attendant lady was friendly and cheerful. I had just returned from Disneyland the week before and it seemed like this place was the "happiest place on earth" moreso than Disneyland. It was apparent that everyone loved their job and enjoyed pampering us. They definitely were the most kind, courteous, and cordial, people I have ever run across. They are what other staff's should aspire to be like. There is no better hotel anywhere than the Quorum Hotel in Tampa.
Reviewed by: Dianne from on Apr 21 2006 Great Hotel with super comfortable & cozy beds! I found this hotel through the tripadvisor site and booked a room for two individual stays through the hotel's website. The hotel looks very nice, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed both times in a King-Size-Bed room on the 6th floor. The rooms looked as displayed on their website - very clean, spaceous with a nice decor and super comfortable bed. The restaurant and bar, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner looks very inviting. I tried their delicious breakfast buffet, which offers a variety of fresh fruits, cereals & jogurths, breads and warm "classical American" breakfast dishes. I specially appreciated the hotels own "Starbucks" coffee shop at the bar. Oh ... and the pool area looked also very well kept. The hotel is situated in the business district, very close to two big malls and also a varietey of restaurants. Even though it's right off I-275 the rooms are very quite and you will not notice the busy traffic unless you look outside the window (pool side view). I definietly would stay at this hotel again.
Reviewed by: Mimi from on Nov 01 2005 Nice place My husband and I stayed here twice on special occasions. Both times we got great prices on our rooms and both times the rooms were just lovely and the beds were so nice. We spent a nice leisurely time holed up in the room both times, on Valentines and the night before he left on deployment. We recommend it.
Reviewed by: Tiffany from on Oct 27 2005 Made us miss our honeymoon flight My wife and I missed the flight that was supposed to take us on our honeymoon because this hotel failed to give us our wake-up call (even more, we ran into several other people in the lobby whom the hotel had also failed to call). To make matters worse, when we called the desk to request a cab because we hadn't gotten a call we never received an apology.
