Ive heard of hotel operators/managers bending over backwards to make their guests feel at home but I would have to say that Pam Barry, owner of the Golden Rock Estate in Nevis, is by far the most sincere and effortless example of a cliché that has been known to ring hollow in many other instances.

This was the quietest and most relaxing resort I have been to and I have stayed at resorts on St. Kitts, St. Maarten and many in the states. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. The pet parrott was also a laugh. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the cabins yet it is set far enough back that it is off the beaten path. If you like to see nature in it's finest then this is the place for you. Keep an eye out for the monkeys. The food was great also and there was plenty of it. The outdoor dining area was very beautiful and it was interesting to learn about the history of the sugar plantation. If you are up for peace and quiet this is your place.
