Home of Tasmanian cricket and the Tasmanian Tigers, international and domestic first-class cricket matches are played here in summer. In winter, the oval is the home to Clarence District Football Club. A major upgrade of facilities is underway, including provision for night matches. Capacity is approximately 15,000 in the stands and on the hill.
