We can't wait to go back
IT was awe inspiring. It was chilly buy well worth it. The cafe' had wonderful assortment of hot cheap eats that were quite delicious. Also the veiw from the top of the shire was incredible. The vibe at our lady of Fatima was love in its self. Just marvolous my 4 year old daughter keeps asking to go back.

Peaceful Place to Pray
Our Lady of Fatima Shrine is a peaceful place to pray and reflect. The grounds are beautifully kept with seasonal florals. Ducks and geese occupy a pond where weeping willows drop their leaves. Benches surround the pond and a replica of the Pieta can be reached via a bridge. The rosary pond is lovely at night. The chapel has two side chapels, one for the Sacred Heart and one for the Blessed Mother. Here prayers and petitions can be left and candles lit. The most inspiring part of the chapel is the statue of the Blessed Mother atop the glass dome. I find this shrine a place where I can go to pray in times of blessings and troubles.I also enjoy the Festival of Lights during the Christmas season. Traditional Christmas carols like Silent Night play softly as you walk among life-size figures of the Holy Family and the Wise Men. The festival exemplifies the true meaning of the holy Christmas season.
