Back to Cave of the Winds Amazing! The review title says it all! Loved it and would love to go back!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 13 2009 Awesome!!! This was one of the best attractions at Niagara Falls... definitely a must do. You will definitely get wet, even with the poncho's on, so consider that when deciding what to wear. We had a warm day so we dried off pretty quickly. You get very close to the Bridal Veil Falls, and can feel the water splashing on you. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera. The Hurricane Deck was very thrilling. I was afraid of it at first, but it is definitely a must do. The force of the wind and the water was crazy...
Reviewed by: Amy from on Sep 13 2009 Amazing!!!! By far the best attraction at Niagara Falls on the U.S. side!! Be prepared to get soaked and that is the word of the day when visiting Cave of the Winds. We stayed in Canada and walked across the bridge to the site. The hike was worth while with plenty of awesome scenery. Don't feel bad about keeping the sandals, we did. Take a waterproof camera if you want pictures.

Reviewed by: Marsha from on Oct 03 2008 AWESOME! A MUST DO!! LOVED IT! Its the closest and AWESOME view of the falls. I will never forget the power of the falls as I stood on hurricane deck. Was able to stick my feet into the falls as I climbed the stairs. And at the deck the falls rained down on me AWESOME! My hubby and I celebrated 25yrs of wedded bliss going to Niagara Falls. LOVED IT! My only advice is to stay on the Canada side hotels-- as there is alot of stuff to do there and not much at all on the American side.
Reviewed by: michele from on Aug 29 2008 You Will Get Wet thiswas an awsome attraction you walk on these walkways and steps and it gets you very up close to the falls. you can actually touch the rocks laying beside the walkways. and you will get wet they give you a raincoat but you will still get wet. but overall it was an experience you will never forget
Reviewed by: natasha from on Jun 29 2008 IT IS AWESOME! is Actually so amazing, everybody in the staff are actually friendly, is a person in the elevator telling you the story, but don't blink or you miss it, you get so close to the falls, you can touch them, there is a point where you are actually under it and you get wet. is really an experience worth to do it again
Reviewed by: a2jleo74 from on Sep 18 2007 The biggest shower ever! The most amazing site for me was the Cave of the Winds tour and the Hurricane deck. Traveling 175 feet through the rock we emerged at the bottom of the gorge and walked over an intricate set of stairs and decking that is removed every November and rebuilt in the Spring. We were as close as 20 feet from the Bridal Veil Falls and felt the tropical storm-like winds buffeting us around. The more adventurous in our party, not me, you get get soaked from the falling water that hit a rock first and then doused the brave. And as a bonus you receive complimentary raincoat and sandels. At the end of the tour there is an opportunity to donate the sandels for people in need. So everyone wins. We will definitely go back!
Reviewed by: Jenningsdavidl from on Aug 11 2007 a Highlight of the trip get the passport to the falls, it's a great deal. liked Cave of the Winds better than the Maid in the Mist. you get right up to the falls. can't keep the kids off the hurricane deck!. would do it again when in the area.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 02 2007 Favorite Attraction on NY Side This was the best way to get up close to the falls, and practically stand underneath. This was by far one of my favorite tours of the trip. Make sure to wear clothes that can get a little wet, as even with the poncho you WILL get wet (especially if you go on the hurricane deck, which is a must do).
