There is no comment on disliking this place, as it was one of the best buffet I have ever experienced. Everything was so fresh, the service was excellent and we look forward to going there again.

I brought my wife, child and father-in-law to eat here on Sept9. This was my second time to Ryan Duffy's, and both times the server was cold and impersonal. The guy making the excellent tableside caesar was wonderful though. My wife's medium steak was overcooked, but my double cut rib steak, medium rare, was one of the best steaks of my life! Huge and worth the 50 bucks! Steak restaurants in my opinion are for people who are not gourmet "foodies" so the service better be friendly!!! The food was good, but again the servers need to warm up a bit. I will go back. There was a famous person there that night. Good wine list.

I went to Ryan Duffy's for a romantic dinner and was promised a quiet table in the corner by a window - we did get the table by the window, but it was by no means quiet. A large group of business men filled many tables behind us and another party of six at the table in front of us. My boyfriend and I could not hear each other, as it was so loud, so that, in itself, was a let down.

Went there Juno weekend and was not disappointed. I had the salmon that was cooked in the white wine sauce, with rice and veggies. It was absolutely amazing. Also drank almost an entire bottle of merlot, delicious. The waitor was very polite and had an amazing sense of humor. Very warm and inviting restaurant. Also, great photographs all along the stairs. Ohh, and let's not forget the amazing cheesecake!

You must be nuts if you think Ryan Duffy's is the best place in Halifax to eat! Take a walk down the street and have a real feast!

We visited Ryan Duffy's on our honeymoon. The food we thought was very good, but my absolute favorite was the French Silk Pie; it was to die for. We each had steaks and they were also excellent. We thought it was a great resturant and if ever in the area again we would certainly eat there.

i loved the pasta they did a excellent job and the sallad delicious and the service was excellent the people there were really nice i enjoyed my time there.

Nothing like a fresh green salad with home made bruchetta's, obviously prepared by a cook with a great feeling for food. I wonder why the cooks never get a tip, they're the ones really making a diference.
