Back to Cardozo Hotel Gloria's place is jammin' A solid hotel worthy of being owned by Gloria Estefan. However, if you are one of those folks from Dubuque (or similar)who enjoys the Green Acres life, be aware that during the weekends, the lounge is party central! Now I just love that, but you decide.
Reviewed by: iamdldavidroot from on Feb 03 2007 Wonderful Staff, Food and Location All though the view from my room wasnt the greatest, the friendliness of the staff made up for it. It was in a perfect location, walking distance from everything (everything to me is nightlife). What really wowed me though was the staff. Even at 2 in the morning someone came to the room to find a microwave to heat up some leftover food I had.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 04 2005 Cardozo Hotel Review The hotel was extremely quaint in a romantic setting overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The Cardozo Cafe had absolutely Great Food and choice, their staff was great also.Small Hotel, but absolutely a great place to stay. Highly Recommended !! Will Stay there Again !! Walking distance to the beach.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 24 2004 It was OK, but not great. We stayed there for three nights only because the hotel is owned by Gloria Estefan. The rooms were very small. All you had for furniture was the beds and a small tv stand. The Cardozo Cafe was good, but service was lousy. The best things about the hotel was the location next to the beach and the front desk gave us VIP tuckets to some of the clubs. There are other nicer hotels in the area for less cost.
Reviewed by: Big Louie from on Jun 12 2004 Comfy, Sexy, Charming-- One of the Best in South Beach The Cardozo has become my only choice when I stay in South Beach. The beautiful renovation has restored its 1930s splendor and added a modern, sexy vibe. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated and boast very comfortable beds. The hotel is across Ocean Drive from some of the best sand on Miami Beach. The staff are among the friendliest in southern Florida, and happily arrange reservations at the hottest restaurants and spaces on VIP guest lists at the wildest clubs. Why go anywhere else?
