LOVE IT
We've been there twice. The staff is wonderful and accomodating! The activities are always really fun (and you get free drinks after participating)! The rooms could stand an upgrade, but we've staying in the older part both times. I'm sure the new part is very nice.

Sub standard if you were in a hotel room other than the Marlin
We just got back from our vacation. first of all, we got there on Friday, and couldn't get pool towels until Wednesday when our representative, Freddy, went and got them. We were on the first floor in the Coral bldg, and you had to go upstairs to the laundry to exchange all towels, get equipment replaced, etc. There was so service to the room. So our blender was broken and we took it up to be replaced, etc. the staff could care less. We were told that the owners didn't want to pay for extra laundry staff so that's why we couldn't get beach towels. that didn't make any sense to usd as we were able to get reguar towels. We were in what is called a hotel room which had a door and no windows to look out so it was not very pleasant. Also, there was a partial kitchen with, are you ready for this - a bathroom sink!!! Try putting a blener under the faucet in the bathroom! You can't. so we washed out the blender in the jacuzzi in our room. What were they thinking? You also couldn't charge the food you ate in the restaurant top your room as it was different owner. Restaurant food was good and reasonable. I find it amazing that they even put anyone into those single rooms and then turn around and expect you to be interested in purchasing in the new bldg. We did tour the new bldg, the Marlin, and it is very nice. all upgraded and modern. The pool was nice and the restaurant had good food and nivce atmospere on the beach. the beach was nice too. If I couldn't get in the Marlin, I wouldn't go back to that place. come to think of it, with the problems with getting the beach towels and the attitude of the staff, I wouldn't go back there at all!

Ritz Beach is a blast!
Ritz Beach Resort in Grand Bahamas was a blast! A five star resort with the best rooms we have seen during timeshare stays in over 3 years! What makes the stay at the Ritz is the swim up pool bar with special drink "buckets" you can enjoy on a fairly comfortable concrete bar stool right in the water. You rarely want to leave the resort or this fantastic pool bar.

Great place!!
We were very impressed with the customer service (A++). The staff was very friendly and always willing to help you in every way. The studio room was excellent; jacuzzi, kitchen appliances are top of the line. The pool is awesome. Will return next year.
