Great Place for the Money!
This motel is right on the bay and the ferry is right there waiting to take you to Port Lucaya. Across the street is a super nice resort that you are able to use all the amenities! Fabulous pool, gorgeous beach, we have traveled here three times and have yet to find a better deal for the money! Taino beach is spectacular and the people are great!

In General Okay
Flamingo Bay, well I am going to tell it just like it is. First the Hotel a little lower than a cheap hotel chain. If you are a none smoker don't go here. If you smoke you will be in paridise. Phone system is that of a under developed country, (terrible) don't make a call from your room. Staff at the front desk, some helpfull, others if they can here you above there loud music might say a word or two. The positives are across the street you have a beautiful beach and a awesome pool. The food is overpriced, drinks watch out for the dollars also. Water sports are pricy and watch out for the timeshare speal. Overall if you can stand a not so nice accomidation in trade for a nice beach you should be okay. Oh and make sure you watch the cab's they forget your luggage.

Will NEVER go back!
The Flamingo Bay Yacht Club is not the place to spend your summer vacation. Other than the fact that my family and I didn't really feel safe at the hotel, the rooms were very humid and unkept, the bathrooms were in need of repair, no room service, and the nearest dinning room is across the street in another hotel. However, we were closer to the beach and the shuttle to Lacaya was literally outside our door! About 12 steps and we were there!

Exclusive
The hotel was clean, modern, and nice. The staff was very helpful, and having the water taxi right behind the hotel gave a lot of options for things to do if you didn't want to stay on the amazing resort. The pool is unbelievable. It is outrageously big with a waterslide in the middle, a swim up bar(go see Carlton) and a really nice hot tub. If you didn't feel like laying at the pool, there is a private beach on the resort and it is really big and beautiful. There was an area to rent jet skis and do water sports, which was nice because it was for our resort only making wait times pretty much non-existent. There wasn't a lot of things going on, but it was just about the most relaxing place you could ask for. Port Lucaya is where the night life is, but the water taxi is 5 dollar round trip to get there and a taxi is 9 dollars each way. This was one of the safest places I have traveled and will definitely go back. This hotel and resort was great and so if Freeport. This is a great place for people of any age.

I Will Be Back!
First of all there's some reviews that really scared me they said the hotel was a dump. But dont beleve everything you read. Here's my experiance! Me and my husband went for the weekend the people where really nice the rooms where clean. All the amenities are across a little paved road cause there ajointed with another company so ya do have to go across the street to go swimming in the pool, but the pool is really big with a water slide and a swim up bar!play tennis, or walk on the beach but it was worth the price! If your use to high class this is not 4 you but for us people who like to get more 4 your money I would recommend it! And I plan on going back!

Excellent!!! Would stay at again
We relied on yahoo reviews to stay at this place and were unsure of what to expect. We had the best time at Flamingo Bay and were sad that we only booked our last two nights there (instead of the rest of our trip).

fantastic
we had a simple plan... Beach, Beach , Beach. What a fantastic place. beautiful room on marina. clean and friendly staff willing to help at any time. The beach across the street was amazing, with all the amenities, pool with grotto bar, massage therapists, beach front, with jet ski, banana boat, snorkling. restruant with fantastic food. especially breakfast, coconut french toast... increadibly delicious. The evenings with ferry trips to Port Lacaya market place for drinks and dancing. what a wonderful place. would return . have told several friends about the resort ... overall experience Outstanding. came home really relaxed.
