The Kuumba Festival is an initiative by Jacksonville's Kuumba Committee to encourage African cultural arts and music in America. African artists perform modern and traditional dances, as live music is played in the background. Collections of masks and drums are exhibited, and specialty dishes from Nigeria and Ethiopia are offered to visitors. Visit if you want to know more about African culture. The Ritz Theatre is home to gospel and jazz, other entertainment and nightlife. Community theater and film are also featured.
