This dining room is famed for its cave-like interior, which, below street-level, contains a number of intimate dining areas of varying sizes. Set in the heart of downtown Halifax, an unusual warren of intimate "caves" sets this restaurant apart. It's got an Old world feel to it, with candlelight flickering on rough stone walls and dining spaces designed for a cozy dinner for two or for twelve. Famous for its cheesecake—like the wicked Chocolate Decadence—just one of 28 varieties; La Cave also excels at appetizers.
