This theatrical institution has two locations to choose from: One is a 450-seat venue converted from an industrial warehouse on Granville Island, and the other is the Stanley Theatre, a restored 1920s movie house on South Granville. Both showcase top-rated local musicals, comedies and new and classical drama. The Granville Island location also features the Backstage Lounge, a bar to hang out in after the show, or just to go and listen to live music. It's a favourite local destination.

Granville Island Farmers' MarketOngoing
The Arts Club Theatre parking lot plays host to this seasonal celebration of freshness. Every Thursday local farmers sell their tempting local produce and foods at this outdoor market. Enjoy seasonal treats like organic strawberries, raspberries, figs and cherries, and fresh Chilliwack peaches and corn. If you're a gardening lover, you can also find plants and garden vegetables among the stands. It's a fun and tasty way to while away a morning or afternoon. Cash only. It is held every Thursday from June through October.
