Granville Island Brewery Company Tour
Jan 1st, 2009 to Dec 31st, 2009

When you've finished a day of shopping at Granville Island and the aroma of barley and hops keeps leading you toward the brewery, don't hold back. Take the half-hour tour of this high-tech facility where you'll be handed a commemorative glass to take home after you've sampled the four beers in it. The retail shop sells beer, souvenirs, and local wines. Call ahead for possible tour time changes. The tours are priced at $9.75 for adults.

Vancouver Fringe Festival

Vancouver Fringe Festival runs for ten days every September. Experts have determined that the primary ingredients of comedy, drama, dance and music found in the average serving of Fringe may contain habit-forming substances. There are usually over 500 performances by 101 troupes in 21 different venues; you will never be bored by the selection. Much of the dramatically fun theater festival is centered on and around Granville Island. Ticket prices vary by performance.
