Back to Namsan Cable Car Good way to get to the top Seems to be only 3 ways to get to the Seoul Tower area. One by bus, another by walking, and the last by cable car. Cable car is a good option although the view isnt spectacular. Its convenient because I dont have to figure out which bus is going up there and where to wait for it. We just took a taxi to 'Nam-san cable car' and it was pretty easy to access. Got a 2 way ticket.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 29 2008 Slow ride The ride is sooooo slow and the atmosphere in the car is a bit stifling. Since there is only one car and the ride is slow, the frequency is poor.
Reviewed by: Mum from on Mar 01 2007 Nice View This cable car ride up was a great view but can get costly. If you're trying to get to Seoul tower, you can actually take a bus or taxi most of the way. If you're into hiking you can climb stairs for most of the journey as well. If you want to experience the view, it is a nice one of North side of the River. Cost for a round trip ticket is 7000 wan.

Reviewed by: james from on Mar 28 2006 Routine This cable car goes up Namsan mountain. It is actually used by Seoul natives rather than tourists, and has a certain charm as a result. You get a decent view, and a little swaying, all for a nominal fee. Kids will love it, as it does't go up too high or last too long.
