Fishermen sailed (and later steamed) into the heart of Brussels, selling their fresh fish at VismĂȘt (Fish Market). Many of the fishmongers who peddled here stayed, and now this whole neighborhood is teeming with seafood restaurants. Most of these are rather delightful, but try these three first: Jacques (charming, traditional and quite inexpensive), François (top class and fairly expensive) or Medussa (contemporary charm).
