Beaver Galleries, established in 1975, is the largest privately-owned gallery in Canberra and has established a national and international reputation for excellence. It comprises four gallery spaces, an impressive sculpture garden, a gallery shop selling unusual handcrafted products; and a licensed cafe. The exhibition programme includes works by both established and emerging artists from all over Australia, but with significant representation from local Canberra artists. Displays include contemporary works over a wide range of disciplines including painting, print making, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelery and furniture.
