I went to this charming pub in 2006 during summer. It couldnt better. It's wonderful to go there with friends, with a date and even alone... I just sat there, listened to Coldplay and drank a pint during sunset. The view is lovely and the place is cozy. It was magical... I can't wait to visit England again and go to this lovely pub.

Cause its one of the most charming places i've ever been.
Friends took us here, when we were visiting from the States in May '09. We had a marvelous time. The food was delicious, the staff was so pleasant and we would highly recommend this place. We hope to go back, again!

The food is fantastic and i visit regularly all year round. In the summer it's busy but wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the beer and the view, and the wintertime it is cosy and warm with the log fires blazing. The Jolly Sailor is well worth a visit at any time of the year, though it is advisable to park at Bursledon station car park (which is free)and wander up (about 3 minute walk)as parkinbg can't be guaranteed outside the pub. Thought I should share my experience of the place.
