The Jolly Sailor is one of the most famous pubs in the Southampton area, thanks mainly to its scenic location at the mouth of the River Hamble. The pub draws large crowds most nights of the week, most of whom sit at smart, wooden tables by the water’s edge or on a spare patch of grass. Sailors are even known to moor their boats nearby and pop in for a pint. The pub is renowned for its excellent food and has a separate dining area. The fresh seafood dishes are particularly recommended.

Just Magical!!
I went to this charming pub in 2006 during summer. It couldnt better. It's wonderful to go there with friends, with a date and even alone... I just sat there, listened to Coldplay and drank a pint during sunset. The view is lovely and the place is cozy. It was magical... I can't wait to visit England again and go to this lovely pub.
