we went back in june. we had more time and fully enjoyed the experience. the museum is operated by retired corrections officers. the officer on duty the day we were there had worked at san quenton and folsom. needless to say, he had many stories. we were there for nearly two hours and would go back again. a must see if you're in the sacremto area.

we visited the museum on a whim several years ago. did not have much time, but found it quite inlightening. we will be going back this spring.
