Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 13 2007 Great Place! The Bluff House is wonderful place on the island of Green Turtle. The views are great, and the bar is even better. Service is slow-paced,yet attentive, but that is all part of the experience in the Bahamas, where no one does anything quickly. It's relaxing to not have to rush around to get stuff done, or have people hustling and bustling around. The food is always delicious and the roof top bar is so much fun! I have been to the Bluff House twice now, and the Bahamas many time, and have always had a wonderful experience at the Bluff House!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 06 2007 Amazing Location and Staff I love the Bluff House! They went above and beyond any hotel I have ever stayed at before. We celebrated my boyfriends 30th birthday there and the staff was more than willing to help make it a special night for him. They even baked him a chocolate cake. Not to mention our view from our room was breathtaking and our whole trip was perfect. I will definately go back every chance I get.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 04 2006 Great views and food We loved the attention we received from the staff. The food was wonderful, the drinks were the best on the island. We danced to the Gully Roosters, The GM (Mike) even took the time to see if there was anything we needed. The Chef was a treat and Tracey was attentive to our needs. Cori at the bar was a delight

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 04 2006 Like a private island The island is small and quaint. The people are amazingly friendly and the staff of Bluff House go out of their way to make guests happy. We could tell that many of the guests were return visitors who had become friends of the staff. What we loved most was the fact that you could tour the island by golf cart and pick your own secluded beach for a picnic or romantic rendezvous! The beaches had powder soft, white sand and gorgeous blue water. You could stroll and find starfish or just soak up the sun and the island is so small, if you find a deserted beach (which we did frequently), it makes you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Back to the Bluff House.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! We have the great fortune (our age)to escape more often these days and we're going for Christmas this year '05.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 14 2005 boutique hotel Bluff House is one of my favorite places. I've been going for years. It's a small boutique hotel that provides a true island experience. Those expecting a golf course, casino, duty free shopping & impersonal mega-hotels need not apply! It's exceptionally friendly & quiet, with a private beach (I got "drafted" to be in a wedding!) on one side, with the marina, pool, & Jolly Roger bar & restaurant on the busy harbor side. People- & boat-watching is real entertainment, for locals & tourists alike. Renting a golf cart at Bluff House to explore little Green Turtle Cay is a huge amount of fun. Driving to the village of New Plymouth (3 miles) can take all day, because there are so many lanes & beaches to explore. This is a low key kind of place for the adventurous/romantic.
