Back to Joslyn Art Museum Great even for kids I think it is like a top ten for kids in the nation. My young children 7 and 10 had a great time. Art making area, computers and backpacks for them. But the place is not overrun with kids. My husband and i had a gret time by ourselves a few days later. I recomend it for anyone.

Rotating collections are often excellent. Many cultures are also represented with the exception of African art--a lack that is surprising since Omaha is home to so many African immigrants.

Reviewed by: txchick from on Jun 13 2008 It is beautiful and Has great art. This is surely the place to go. The art is beautiful. I think any type of person any age would really love this. You really learn alot from looking at the art. And even if you don't like art all that much you should still go there just to see the blown glass.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 01 2006 Exceptional Joslyn has some nice permanent exhibits and the traveling ones have been good - notable were the pop art and French exhibits of recent years. Jazz on the Green in the summer is good. If you're looking for free things to do, the musuem is free on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings during Jazz on the Green.
