Lived in Rome - Best Restaurant in Rome
I studied abroad and lived in Rome for a summer, and I ate at countless restaurants all over the city. Abruzzi at Piazza del San Apostoli was the best restaurant in the city. It may be difficult to find, but it is well worth it. This is the first time that I have seen it listed anywhere. The best dishes are the Rigatoni alla Carbonara, and the Veal. In my opinion and in the opinion of all 30 of my fellow classmates who lived in Rome with me, they have the best Rigatoni alla Carbonara in the WORLD! We all have tried to find something similar elsewhere and haven't found anything close.

Always Fabulous
The restaurant was recommended by a seasoned traveller and we have dined at Abruzzi at least once on each trip to Rome since. We always have fantastic service and great food at a great price. The outdoor seating is interesting as the streets are very narrow but it is away from the bustle of the main haunts. The eggplant and asparagus dishes are always perfectly prepared and if you're into veal it is great, according to my mother.

Consistenly good
I've been going there ten years and it continues to be a favorite. We had a rude waiter once this year, complained, and when we got back waiter was gone and owner rolled out the red carpet.
