Extremely popular with university students, this charming old bistro has a fine selection of dishes for lunch and dinner, although it is best known for its breakfasts, which are alleged to be the best in Heidelberg. The food is excellent, the service is generally good and the atmosphere is lively and great fun. There are several tables out on the patio and in the conservatory, although you should reserve beforehand to stand any chance of getting one. A great place to line your stomach before hitting the bars and clubs!
