We were made to feel welcome from the second we arrived. They took care of everything from booking safe taxi's to arranging sight seeing. Our reason for going to Bogota was to establish safe areas for business people. We can without reservation recommend the Casona del Patio Amarillo to anyone wishing to experiance this wonderful city. La Casona is a recently renovated house. Each of 14 rooms is different, but art posters and colorful outfits lend an inviting atmosphere to all of them. All of the rooms are clean and safe.

Every staff member went out of their way to make us comfortable both at the hotel and assisted in all we needed in Bogota. We do not speak Spanish and the staff smilingly taught us words we needed to know and made sure we always had everything we needed. The staff constantly asked us if we needed anything and we felt like family by the end of our stay. We even took photos with staff members and felt like we were leaving friends behind when it was time to go home.
