The alpine school Innsbruck, in co-operation with the Innsbruck Tourist association, offers the "Karwendel Trekking", an worthwhile two-day tour in the fascinating mountain landscape around Innsbruck. On the first day the tour starts at dawn from Innsbruck with the Nordketten line up to the 2,260 m high Hafelekar. This is followed by a trekking tour of about six hours to the Mösl Alm, where a good dinner and an overnight stay in comfortable atmosphere can be enjoyed. On the second day there is a six-hour tour from the Mösl Alm to the Gleirscher, followed by a one-hour canoe ride on the Isar to Scharnitz. The tour ends with the train journey back to Innsbruck. Included in the services are a well-trained mountain guide, the journey with the Nordketten line, dinner, overnight stay, breakfast, lunch pack, rental canoe equipment, train journey and a trekking badge.
