A real church for culturally interested.
The best place to visit and pray for me in MNL..full of the history of the good Filipino people. A place with a real architecture and style.A real heritage for the Philippines..Diversity is richness, not uniformity of style.A place of God, of serenity and peace; not a place of sectarian aggressive selling a religion against an other or comparing.. which is not Christian, by the way!

Well worth it
This is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines (1604), and nowadays the main atrium of the church is still in use, but what used to be the monastery has been converted into a very large, interesting museum. Be sure to check out the gardens in the back, too.

One of the best church in town
This is one of the oldest and beautiful church we have in town where private and exclusive wedding mostly happened. The historical ambiance and the church itself is what make it more special and adorable. Wish to have my wedding here someday.

My dream Church
I first saw San Agustin Church when i was in grade school at a local trilogy movie which even at a young age, i fell in love with the place. I though it was just a product of creative production of set up and cinematography. After so many years, we went in Intramuros for a fieldtrip, i was in my college days then. Of all the places we visited, i was so astonished when i saw it, i told to myself that this was the church i had been keeping in my mind when i was young. I love it! The architectural design, the Spaniards era that i feel whenever im there, it was like back in those days of our heroes and wearing a Maria Clara....i really have these attachment, felt like i was from that time. All the way through the corridor that led to Father Blanco's garden, such a majestic place for me, since then it sticks more in my mind every detail of it. I made a promise to myself that i will have my wedding here. Im thankful that my fiance then love the place and the day came...San Agustin Church became our Wedding Churh, what else could i ask for?, my dream came true.

love it
I did my elementary right there. There was a school right in front of the church, "Immaculate Conception Academy". It was a chinese school and anyways, I was also confirmed in that church. The school was converted into something else so we moved to a sister school in San Juan by greenhills also same school name.

Time travel!
Really old! Great museum with rare historical artifacts...visit the spooky crypt...wander the corridors with large paintings and old relics. Great for history buffs, tourists and students. Only short distance away from the manila cathedral and rizal park...can, miss...you may take a caleza to go there.
