From the outside it resembles a dark and gloomy fortress. Yet the bleak facade of Hebbel-Theater, built a hundred years ago, conceals one of the most exiting and inspiring modern dance theatres in Germany. The theatre doesn't produce any in-house productions, but prefers to import pieces from other cities or other countries. Dance, drama and experimental pieces from all over the world are shown in the original version. But beware! Avoid the gallery, as the views from the top rows are not good.
