A fairly new addition to Lübeck's nightlife scene, Gecko has already become one of the most popular hang-outs in town. Located next to the Metro andFilmpalast Stadthalle, it is an ideal place to head for drinks after an evening at the cinema. Gecko is particularly popular on Thursdays, when the in-crowd flocks here to see and be seen. The tables at the window are great for people-watching, although reservations should always be made on Thursdays. The menu features great salads and Latin American specialities, with the tacos a firm favourite.
