Formerly the Dutch administration office, it was later converted into a school. In 1931, the British turned it into a General Post Office. Today, the building houses the Malaysia Youth Museum. The museum is dedicated to the contributions made by youths to the country's economic and social standing. Among the exhibits on display are pictures of past youth leaders, awards, journals, archives, uniforms and handicrafts produced by youth groups. On the first level is the Art Gallery, which houses a wide collection of artworks by the nation's established young artists.
