San Francisco's colorful Japanese quarter, centered at Post & Buchanan Streets, will burst into full bloom, when members of Northern California's Japanese American community gather to present their Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Anyone with a yen to experience a bit of Japan won't want to miss this wonderfully vivid and varied cultural feast which celebrates the rich heritage of Japanese Americans. There will be Japanese music and dance performances, visual and martial arts exhibits and demonstrations, tea ceremonies, Taiko drumming, flower arranging demonstrations, children's programs, a food bazaar, an arts and crafts fair, a spectacular Japanese-style parade, and much more.
