If you only knew
Busch Gardens is a beautiuful attraction but hardly what it was 40 years ago. Its a wonder to me since Walmart and McDonalds has come under fire for not paying a living wage Busch Gardens has never been mentioned in 50 years? With the exception of this economy Busch Gardens has to depend on young people and most important senior citizens. Noone could live on their wages. WIth the fees they charge? Three ten for a soda drink? Twelve dollars to park in a open lot? Employees are expected to walk excessive distances just to reach the park because they refuse to run and effecient tram system..late night closing are dangerous due to no to poor lighting and employees some seniors are expected to climb over parking lot baracades in the park seemingly left there for no reason...U maybe making 7.50 and hour but think of the doctor bills?? and U wont be around long if U report injuries?? I would think twice about supporting Busch Gardens??? Believe who you will....push the new owners to rid themselves of the old management and bring in new blood with caring atttitudes.....

Great park, will go back when kids are older.
Seeing the animals was a great time! Rides looked great as well. Our son was only 2 at the time and wore out an hour into it. We'll be back again when the kids are older.

Take the Elite Adventure Tour
The way to see the park in one day is the Elite Adventure Tour. Our tour guide Chad was fantastic! It does cost extra to take the tour but it was well wort the extra cash. It was really a special day for our family. The animals are so well taken care of with beautiful areas for them to run around and play. At most zoos the animals are sleeping but at Busch Gardens they are seemed so happy and full of life. The rides are by far the best in the state of Florida having been to all the parks no park matches the rides of Busch Gardens. The food at the Crown Colony House was awesome! Even had a piano player. I would suggest taking the tour. We did not have to worry about finding our way. The tour guide took care of everything for us. I would suggest asking for our guide Chad you can't go wrong if you have him, The tour is an extra cost but when you add it all up it is really well worth the extra cash. We also fed graffes on the tour and that was a neat experience. The park was clean. They pressure wash every night at the park. I sw more people cleaning than you see at most parks. The flowers were beautiful. It was truly a great day and I will be back there soon.

The minimum is done for people with disabilities!
The park was beautiful, but after spending 2 days at Disney we were very disappointed that we had waisted a day of our vacation to go to Busch Gardens...My son is 5 years old and has Down Syndrome...he is unable to walk for long distances so we pushed him in a wheel chair. The park is very hard to push a wheelchair up and down hills. When we would arrive at a ride we were told to return later (usually 45-60 minutes later.) It was difficult enough to just get to the ride, then to be told to leave, then try to find something else to do that was age appropriate and then insure we were back at the time we were told was ridiculous. We spent all day walking in circles. It made the rest of our family miserable. We did not get to enjoy many of the rides because we could not get back to them at the stated time. The staff was not friendly, many could barely understand english, it was a very bad experience for our family. Stick with Disney!

/the best theme park experience I've ever had.
I enjoyed everyting! The shows were entertaining. The rides were awsome. The look of the place was extraordinary. The atmosphere was the best. The food was very reasonably priced & good. Especially for a theme park. We ate at Grogan's grill for $8.00- $10.00 a piece & had plenty to eat. The refillable drink cup are the way to go. We bought (2) for $8.00 a piece & just refilled them with water for free every once in a while, we would get a drink refill for $2.00. We visited on two seperate days so it was really a whole lot better than buying drinks constantly. We also ate at the Italian place & it was good & resonable as well though I really do not remember what we paid. I do know that it was comperable. THe employees are real friendly & professional, although we did have a problem with the Russian cahier girl at Grogan's grill. She got a real attitude when we told her she over charged us. She did fix it, but she did NOT like it.

Better Two Days for the price of One
Regarding the atmosphere and the free beer, it can be quite comfortable if you are not in a hurry to get around. What tremendously bothered us is that because of "Hallo-Scream" in October (approx. 17 nights), the park closes at 5 pm! This means everyone is kicked out--the rides close down quick enough, but the shops remain open--so that the park can charge another admission for the teenies to dress up like zombies and scream into the wee hours of the morning. I don't know how a good park could lower themselves into doing something like this. Do you think that a normal person could get some compensation for the park's disgraceful behavior? No. The ticket sellers behind the window say that the day's opening-closing times are posted in the purchase window and that's that. It's a kind of "take it or leave it" kind of attitude. For the price of $68./adults, it's way too expensive. The children's price is not much cheaper. Parking is another $10. My husband and I were so upset (you know, we are the kind of people who have to earn our money) that we complained to four employees before we were directed to the second customer relations booth where we were given a second free day to be used within 6 days. With this we were satisified and returned. The second visit was less hectic and we knew what was coming at 5 pm. All in all I don't have the intention of returning to Busch Gardens.
