Back to McKibbin's Irish Pub Won't be going back We went for lunch, and found the service to be absolutely despicable. There were numerous problems with our order, but not once did our waitress apologise. We waited over 45 mins for our food, and when it did finally come out, one dish was lukewarm, and the other was not what we had ordered. We mentioned this to our server, but there was no apology. Not even an offer to remedy the situation.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 17 2007 Great Pub Just a fantastic Irish Pub. We were told by the front desk to check it out. He told us that he sent Jude Law there last week and he loved it. Jude apparently went back almost every night. If Jude Law loved it why would'nt we. We went, and WOW. Great food, awesome band and really nice people.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 10 2006 Ai da da dee Can we say fantastic? This is a pub that we literally stumbled onto while staying for the weekend in Montreal. Dont bother going to the upper floors. Take in the lowest floor of the pub-which is much quieter, a better atmosphere and hosts the BEST bartender I have ever met. His name is Kevin and without a doubt this man personifies fun! He is entertaining, engaging and bursting with energy. The only problem with this floor is that it clears out about 12am. Also, the pub itself has rather expensive drinks. Other than that, great place. Met loads of fun people and within walking distance of many local hotels. Cheers!!!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 18 2006 Just Like Home I was in Montreal on business and felt a little home sick so I dropped by McKibbin's for a Pint of stout.I was told by the concierge at my hotel to go to McKibbin's for the real deal. I can only say that I was a little sceptical as I've been to hundreds of pubs around the world that claim there the real thing. As soon as I walked through the front door I was literly transported to my hometown in Cork within seconds. It was eery how they replicated such an authentic Irish Pub in Canada, right down to the smell. The music was fantastic. Not that old traditional fidlee didlee that you get bored of after 5 songs, but real rocking tunes that people were singing to. Loved it and thank you for the cheapest and fastest flight to Ireland that I have ever taken!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 26 2005 A shameful joint I heard a lot about this pub, some good and some bad, however I deceided to give a try, my girlfreind and I dropped in for drink a week or so ago......... "just in time for the band" said the owner as he perched himself up against the bar trying to make small talk with my girlfreind (I did not care, but she was mad as hell)to make matters worse they over charged for the drinks and the band ..........it was a rock band, so I asked the socalled owner where is the Irish music ? he said "Naw there is no money in Irish music, go somewhere else".So we left.
