Located in one of the poshest parts of town, the Schwarzer Adler underwent an elaborate overhaul, both inside and out, in 1998. It now features six ornately decorated suites, with fabulous crystal bathrooms designed by local cut-glass manufacturer Swarovski. The traditional approach adopted by the hotel stems from its 500 years of experience in the hotel trade; the stylishly dressed porter who greets guests in the lobby is the proof. The hotel’s restaurant is known far and wide for its exquisite fish dishes.
