Shangri-La is awesome
Just got back and have to say this is one beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean, the Krungthep wing is amazing and the complementary breakfast each morning was delicious. We were not affected by any construction. The spa is also beautiful. The river view was amazing and the hotel is very centralized. If you want to save money, stay somewhere else as this is a first-class hotel and amenities are not cheap but compared to U.S prices well worth it.

Enjoyed my short stay
I liked the service, everyone seemed very polite and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, with all the amenitiies expected in a good hotel. I especially liked the mini bar provided and the comfort of the beds. The linen was spotless and appreciated the complimentary fruits. Breakfast was sumptous with lots of variety.

I would like to visit you every year
The Shangri La hotels in general are the best I've tried all in Singapore, Bangkok and Malaysia there are the best of the best. Service are excellent, rooms are great and always clean, I enjoyed staying at Bangkok Shangri La Hotel. I might come back to visit you on the 25th of October 2007. :-)

top spot
frequently voted in the top ten hotels in the world my wife ,myself and my grandaughter have stayed here both in the krungthrep wing and the tower on numerous occasions and we have never been disappointed, there are quality restaurants, top level service from the staff and fantastic views from the rooms, whenever we visit the far east be it thailand, malaysia, singapore etc we always choose a Shangri La hotel, they are not the cheapest, but they are the best for quality service, quality rooms.quality facilities. go on pay that bit extra ,live life.

Wonderful place to exprience.
We (family) have stayed here couple of times during our visit over the years to Bangkok. Never hand any negative experiences. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The food is to die for , from their Next2café,Salathip Thai and Shang Palace is just worth every Bhat. From their shopping arcade the shopping center Robinson Bangrak is just a stones throw away, so it is so convenient to say the least, but being in Silom its far from the main area but thanks to the sky train we can avoid the traffic if you need to go the world trade center area and the rest. Even if you don’t stay here I would suggest one try the Shang, Café (buffet ) and Salathip Thai restaurant, those are not to be missed. Thai people in general are the friendliest in the world…
